Tengu Kamishibai (Picture Card Theatre ) 天狗の紙芝居 2003年にＯＭＴは最初の天狗ミュージカルを紙芝居にしました。 まずは絵はがきサイズ、次に通常サイズを数セットと切手サイズ！も１セット、 作りました。さらに、たたみの裏に絵を貼った「たたみ芝居」！も１セット作り ました。最終的には日英２カ国語版を１ページにまとめたのですが、こちらでご 覧になれます。 3.5MBのPDFはこちら この１ページを使って読み聞かせもできますし、切り取って小さな紙芝居を作る こともできて、使いやすくなっています。 2007年には、国際天狗アートプロジェクトの一環として、このお話をさまざまな 言語に翻訳し始めました。現在、25カ国語に訳されており、以下でご覧になれま す。また、読み聞かせを録音した音声ファイルもあります。こちらにある言語以 外にお話を翻訳してくださる方がいらっしゃればどうぞお知らせください！ In 2003 we turned our first tengu musical into a kamishibai. Traditionally kamishibai in Japan are 12 to 16 cards long, each card approximately 10 by 14 inches, with the narration for each card written on the back of the previous card. Link for more info on kamishibai here. Our kamishibai began postcard sized. Later we also made some copies of the traditional Japanese size, as well as one set the size of postage stamps (!) and, going to the other extreme, one set on the back of 3 by 6 foot tatami mats (that, of course, we call tatami-shibai!) Finally, we put out the one page, bilingual version that you can see here. (or 3.5 mb pdf here.) This is handy because it can be read as a single sheet, or you can cut it apart and make your own little set. In 2007, as part of our International Tengu Art Project, we began to get the story translated into other languages. So far we have collected 18 versions, all available below. Sound files of the various versions are being added as we get them. If you know anyone who would be willing to translate the story into other languages, please point them our way!
