TENGU 1 DIARY-  England, Italy, Austria, Spain,  Ireland, USA, Ecuador, and back to Japan

I left Japan April 12, carried by Rose Furlonger and Fiona Wyles to Gateshead, England. I had a very enjoyable stay at Front Street Primary and my diary now includes autographs of rugby players, accounts of a football match, a visit to the Angel of the North, a drama class, a bbq, a visit to Scotland [see below]. I have also acquired a large rugby medal won by one of the pupils!

Next I arrived in Rovereto, Italy on May 19, where I stayed with Elena Filosi and family. I took a trip to Verona, where I visited the balcony from Romeo and Juliet!

Schwaz, Austria, was my next stop, where I had a ball visiting various school classes and even being treated to a command performance of a Haydn string trio.

Had a great time in Spain,  and Ireland now en route to Baltimore, Maryland. Check back for more photos!

Above is the tiny tengu in Scotland! To the right is tengu's larger brother, who also travelled to Gateshead (and likes it  so much that he is staying there!). The Drive School is in Felling, outside of Gateshead.

Below tengu poses with a class in Rovereto. The cell phone paparazzi are in a classroom in Schwaz.
